Renato Alarcon
Founder and Principal
Since 2002, Renato has been helping families and business owners develop and implement customized strategies that address both their financial and estate planning needs. With nearly 25 years of experience, he has built his practice on forging meaningful, long-term relationships—setting himself apart from the traditional big-bank model by offering highly personalized service.
Renato understands that each client has unique goals and circumstances. He takes the time to truly get to know his clients, allowing him to craft tailored strategies that reflect their specific objectives and long-term vision.
Born and raised in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, and of Lebanese heritage, Renato moved to Houston in 1997 to pursue higher education. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in 2001. He has served on the board of Amigos por Vida charter school and is an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), where he was honored as a “Rising Star” in 2004.
Renato is also a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table*—an elite global association of financial professionals—and consistently ranks in the top tier of industry production year after year.
Outside of work, Renato enjoys spending time with his wife, Megan, and their two children, Renato and Julia Rose. A passionate soccer player and fan, he also enjoys tennis and exploring Houston’s diverse food scene by supporting local restaurants.

Alejandra Koutros
Chief Operating Officer
Alejandra is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Alarcon Financial Strategies, bringing a wealth of experience in operations, logistics, and people management. Born and raised in Mexico, Alejandra developed a strong work ethic and business acumen early on by working in the family business for 17 years. This hands-on experience allowed her to hone her skills in time management, operational efficiency, and team leadership.
A graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, Alejandra seamlessly transitioned from the family business to the financial sector, where she now leverages her extensive background to drive strategic growth and operational excellence at Alarcon Financial Strategies. With a deep understanding of both the business and financial landscapes, Alejandra is committed to delivering innovative solutions and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
LeiLani Tellez
Executive Assistant
Leilani is a key member of the team at Alarcon Financial Strategies, where she manages client services and serves as the primary point of contact for all administrative needs. Known for her dedication and warm approach, Leilani takes pride in going the extra mile to ensure clients receive exceptional support and care.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, she effectively communicates with a diverse range of clients and is committed to creating a seamless, positive experience for everyone she assists.
Outside of the office, Leilani is deeply family-oriented. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Luis, their daughter, Kalani and son, Kai.
A creative at heart, she also freelances as a photographer in her free time.
